Calculator |
Use the Due Date Calculator to determine the likely due date of your baby. Keep in mind that only 6% of babies are actually born on their due date. The Due Date Calculator shows the likely conception date, the end of the first and the second trimester dates - and of course the due date.
Enter the date of your last menstrual period and the number of days in your menstrual cycle into the Due Date calculator, and click on the Calculate button. On average, there are 28 days in a menstrual cycle, but it can last from as little as 22 to as many as 44 days.

Have
you ever wanted to know how your doctor or health
care provider calculates your estimated due date and
age of your baby? Well, it is actually a really
simple process:
You add
280 days to the first day of your last menstrual
period, or LMP
It is
really as simple as that. The 280-day cycle works on
the typical 266-day gestation period for humans. We
get 280 days because we add 14 days, which is the
average time span for when you would have ovulated.

On average, there are 28
days in a menstrual cycle - it can last from as little as 22 to as many

date, but if your cycle is irregular the results may be less accurate.
A
luteal phase is the time in a woman's cycle between
ovulation and menstruation. In a pregnant woman,
during the luteal phase the fertilized egg will
travel from the fallopian tube and into the uterus
for implantation. The luteal phase is normally 14
days long and on an average it can be anywhere from
10 to 17 days long.
